  • Are Sarto carbon frames repairable?

    Generally yes, and often without excessive costs. And to add value to your purchase, we have also developed a Crash Replacement program. For more information visit Warranty Conditions.

  • Which component brands can I choose from?

    You can choose from the major brands of bike components on the market. There are price advantages if you choose our main partners.

  • What does SARTO customization consist of?

    Since we have complete control of the production chain of our carbon frames, our customization offer is total and covers all the details of the frame:

    • Lamination of carbon tubes to ensure the riding characteristics
    • Customized geometry to ensure correct positioning on the bike
    • Choice of technical specifications for maximum customization (choice of the type of bottom bracket, cable routing, and any special requests such as rack attachments for gravel frames)
    • Colors
    • Graphics
    • Components
    • Assembly

  • Where are SARTO frames made?

    Sarto frames are made one by one entirely at our headquarters in Pianiga in the province of Venice, Italy. We have several departments that deal with the production and processing of every single detail and feature of the frame.

  • Is there a weight limit for the rider?

    One of the advantages of a fully custom frame is that we can study a dedicated structure with the necessary reinforcements. Choosing equally reliable components will be important though.

  • What type of carbon fiber is used for your frames?

    To obtain the best results in terms of performance, stiffness, damping and reliability, we combine different types of fibers in different layers and frame areas.

  • Are Sarto frames made to measure?

    All our frames can be made to measure, or with standard Sarto geometry. It depends on your requirements, and there is no difference in price.


SARTO branded frames are covered by a two-year warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials, always and exclusively through the original retailer they were purchased from.

If registered on within ten days of receiving the frame, the warranty on the Sarto branded frames is extended to five years.

Frames that are recognized as defective under the terms of this warranty will be repaired or replaced, at the discretion of Sartobikes Srl. The products of other companies, mounted on SARTO frames, are covered by the warranties of the respective manufacturers.

The warranty is valid only for the first owner.

The warranty is valid only if the frame or bicycle is purchased through an official dealer, who will handle service, warranty, crash repairs and crash replacements.

When a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replacement product remains covered by any remaining original warranty, there is no renewal or extension of the warranty period.

Repair and/or replacement of defective frames will be carried out at the Sartobikes Srl headquarters or at different locations at Sarto Srl's discretion. In any case, transport will be responsibility of the customer.

The warranty does not cover:

Products without valid proof of purchase.

Normal wear and tear, damages caused by abuse or improper use, incorrect assembly, incorrect or insufficient maintenance, accidents, abnormal mechanical stress, corrosion, use of aggressive cleaners, use with incompatible products, improper repairs, and more generally anything that does not constitute a defect in materials or manufacturing.

Frames without identification code.

Products arrived at the normal end of the useful life cycle.

The effects of UV exposure (fading, yellowing).

The effects of the saline environment.

Products repainted or repaired by unauthorized companies.

Products that have been modified/tampered with.

The labor necessary for replacement.

Paint defects after 2 (two) years from purchase.

Shipping costs for collection and delivery of the frame/bicycle.

User manual

All the frames and bicycles are accompanied by a use and maintenance booklet that must be read and followed.

Right of modification

Sartobikes Srl reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notice.

Crash replacement policy

Sartobikes Srl offers to the original owner special terms for a replacement frame, in case of irreparable structural damage caused by accidents or other external factors.

Send an email to reporting the data of the bicycle, the circumstances in which the damage occurred and attaching photos that indicate the damage suffered and valid proof of purchase.

The Crash Replacement service is applicable only in case of damages that compromise the functionality or safety of the bike. Sartobikes srl reserves the right to refuse this service, should it be noted that the damage has been caused intentionally or that it is purely aesthetic in nature.

The service is offered directly by Sartobikes Srl through the original dealer.

This offer is valid only in the first three years from the date of purchase.
